In 1974, he started to work as a research assistant at Gazi University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Occupational Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In 1982, he received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Ankara University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Institute of Health Sciences. He continued his duty as Associate Professor at Gazi University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Occupational Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 1990 and as Professor in the same EU Department in 1998. Study articles on the synthesis of drug active ingredients and the investigation of their biological effects have been published in National and International journals. In addition, he has one patent for projects, conferences and a compound showing hemostatic and antiseptic properties in bleedings caused by external injuries. He participated in congresses as an invited speaker on the role of fructose syrup, which is used extensively in processed ready-made foods and beverages, in obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases characterized by increased cholesterol and triglyceride resulting from dysfunction of blood fats, which we call Metabolic Syndrome, and its effect on Healthy Nutrition. He has given many conferences at Universities with the invitation of Chambers of Pharmacists and Deans of Faculty of Pharmacy. Since 2020, he has been working as a health consultant on R&D and the mechanism of action of the products at Immu-Nat Company, which produces herbal medicine active ingredients.
